Abstract: According to current legal regulations, the Vietnamese National Assembly employs two forms of questioning: direct questioning and written questioning. This article summarizes questioning activities and the forms of questioning used in the National Assembly. It analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each form, highlighting their practical implications. The effectiveness of both forms in real-world application is carefully evaluated. A comparative assessment is conducted to identify strengths and weaknesses. Based on the findings, the article proposes solutions to enhance the effectiveness of these questioning methods. These recommendations aim to improve the quality of parliamentary questioning in the future.
